No joke. That's why I decided to go on a round-the-world tour, exploring some areas, volunteering in others. In the course of maybe a year, a dozen of my friends, in my workplace, in my home, and elsewhere in my circles were either getting married, or having children. So, I was like, "I don't have a girlfriend, I don't own property, I'm not that deep into a career, and I'm still fairly fit physically...I need to get out of here." And then I started prepping.
By the way, that's me on the left. (I'm the human, not the waterfall.) My name is Andrew Schnorr, and I'm currently on a year-long sabbatical from my job as a marketing goon in video games. I love my job, as it combines my passion for video games and my passion for marketing. But I have other passions, too. Traveling is one. Animals is another. Helping others is yet another one. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to explore those passions to any great extent. This trip should remedy that.
Also, adventure!
The Wandering Loon should provide some insight into what happens to me, from when I take my first flight to when I get eaten by a lion. Or return. Whichever comes first.
